ArtApp

ArtApp connects arts and culture with businesses to support the recovery of both sectors in the post COVID-19 era

The aim of the project is to develop a digital tool -the ArtApp enables businesses and arts organisations to get into contact, create common offers for customers for the benefit of both the business and the creative sector. This new business model would directly involve local businesses and it would reach new audiences for arts organisations. Through Art App both the creative and the business sectors will benefit and build their capacity, at a time of recovery from the financial adversities brought in the fore due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Approach

artapp2

Art App fosters collaboration and interaction between art organisations, local businesses, and their wider audience by connecting them in an online loyalty-based benefit platform, ensuring a new and innovative European-wide model of funding for the sectors. ArtApp will ultimately help art organisations to bring art in unusual places, making it possible to get support from the community and local businesses in a lean and hassle-free way. Thus ArtApp will create a sustainable eco-system for local businesses, cultural organisations and their audiences, from which all three parties can benefit in an equal way. ArtApp will be tested for two years across Hungary, Croatia, Italy and Greece and in four creative disciplines: dance, theatre, music, visual art and socially engaged arts.
